Content display enhancements

I think it's difficult to search for information/materials when you display so large cards on the screen, with so little information, and very often a picture placeholder taking 80% of space. It's simply a horror to scroll through them, and then in most cases to open them in new tabs to really understand what they are about. Apart from this there are also other issues: lack of text wrapping, truncated text, input validation issues.
